Peter specializes in work for the cultural sector, and works alongside a talented team at Surface Impression (based in Toronto, Brighton [UK] and New York) to help organizations of all shapes and sizes to make the most of digital. This is achieved via eclectic means – through skills development, consultancy, research, special events, design or production. Collections-holding clients include well known institutions such as the British Library, National Museum of Ireland, Canadian Museum of Nature, University of Cambridge and the Smithsonian Institution, along with scores of smaller, less well-known, but equally important museums, libraries and archives across many countries. Peter has a PhD from the University of Leicester and is also a Fellow at the Institute for Digital Culture (at the same university).
