Tammy Moorse
Tammy Moorse, is the lead for metadata management, in the data management practices team at BMO. She works across the enterprise with all groups and services to enable data documentation to drive data discovery, quality and accurate classification, to protect the bank and ensure its data assets are properly protected.
Her career has encompassed the management and lifecycle of all types of borne digital assets including audio, video, photographic, and now big data. Her focus is on the proper documentation of digital assets to facilitate their discovery, their understanding, and to ensure that through their lifecycle they are properly managed and accessed.
Tammy holds a Masters Degree in Library and Information Science from Western University. She taught as a sessional instructor at the University of Washington’s iSchool where she focused on metadata and documentation. Previously, she was an independent consultant working in digital asset management.
