This research aims to address the challenges faced by the tourism sector in managing and promoting destinations in the digital age. By focusing on Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems, the research seeks to fill a significant gap in understanding their application within Destination Management and Marketing Organizations (DMMOs). Through interviews with marketing managers and executives from Canadian DMMOs, the study aims to uncover insights into the role of DAM systems in destination marketing and management, exploring issues, opportunities, and best practices. The research also highlights the relevance of DAM systems for the graphic arts industry, emphasizing collaboration between the LED lab and graphic arts stakeholders to drive innovation and create new opportunities.
